  • Can you bring your own food into the hotel room? Also, can you order from the restaurant and take it to-go back to your room?

This question was asked by Deb from Birmingham on 8/25/2009

  • Dear Deb,

Yes, you can bring your own food into your room at Great Wolf Lodge.  Each room comes standard with a coffee-maker (and coffee, cream, sugar), microwave, mini-fridge and a sink area. You are welcome to bring drinks, snacks, meals for you and your family to enjoy.  Please keep in mind that your room at GWL will not have plates, bowls, and/or cutlery.  I pack a "kitchen" bag in a gallon size zip- lock with above items (plastic) as well as a small sample size of dishsoap (if needed)  and packets of salt, pepper and catsup (the stuff that accumulates in your drawers from fast food restaurants).

You can also enjoy take-out from any of the restaurants located at GWL.  Just let your server know that you would like to take the items to your room before you order so he/she can provide you with appropriate supplies to enjoy your meal.

Additionally, provided in your room, you will find a long list of restaurants (and menus) in the area that will deliver food directly to the GWL lobby.  The front desk will buzz your room when your delivery arrives.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Tara
