  • I read on Bedbugs.com that the Mason Hotel had a problem with bed bugs. Can you verivfy if they are bed bug free?

This question was asked by Deborah from Chillicothe on 6/16/2011

  • Hi,
Bed bugs are a growing concern to many who stay in hotels.  The health and safety of guests and employees is always a top priority and Great Wolf Lodge is committed to the highest standards when it comes to guests, which is why they have a strong bed bug prevention program. I am not aware of any particular occurrences within the Mason Lodge, however, the Great Wolf Lodge has a policy for all of their locations that if bed bugs are recognized in a particular room, the room is shut down until the issue has been completely dealt with.  With any hotel stay, I would always recommend pulling back the bed linens, checking underneath the mattress to see if there are any suspicious spots as well as not putting any luggage on the floor.

If you have any additional questions or concern, feel free to contact the Great Wolf Lodge property directly.  Thanks for the question!
