  • Does the late check-in time of 4pm, and the early check out time of 11am, allow enough time for a family with two young children to take advantage of the facility? Basically is one night stay a bad idea?

This question was asked by Betsy from Grand Rapids on 1/21/2011

  • Hi Betsy!
    Great question!

One night is actually more than enough time to enjoy all of the fun that Great Wolf Lodge offers!

You can arrive early, and use the water park as early as 1 p.m. on the day you check-in.  Often times rooms are available that early as well.  Sometimes, when the rooms are not ready, you can check in with guest services and you can always change in the locker rooms and enjoy the water park before you actually get into your room.

You can also stay and play until the water park closes on the day you check out. Again, you will be able to change in the locker rooms, and leave your luggage in your car.

My biggest piece of advice is to pack a small, separate bag with your family's swimsuits/changes of clothing and the necessities in order to take maximum advantage of the fun amenities Great Wolf Lodge offers its guests.

We hope you enjoy your stay! :)
