The walls dividing the rooms in the KidKamp™ Suite and the KidCabin® Suite are not floor to ceiling, but the Majestic Bear™ Suite has a separate room for the parents and it is incredible. I always prefer that room if it is available.

I am not aware of any single parent discounts, but there are always deals available online. You can check them out at www.greatwolf.com on the Great Deals page http://www.greatwolf.com/niagara/plan/deals. Also, with the summer being so busy, the rates are lower in the month of September.... see entire answer

Depending on the occupancy of the room you have reserved there may be no additional charge. I always recommend calling ahead but it is not necessary.

The Lodge is located about 4 km away from the Falls and there is a wooded area between, so none of the rooms have a view of the falls. GWL is 300m from the Whirlpool Rapids and 400m from the whirlpool. The North facing rooms on the East wing of the Lodge do have a view of the outdoor pool... see entire answer

There are no hikes organized by GWL, but you can walk along the pathway running beside River Road. You can look across to the Whirlpool to US side and see Whirlpool State Park. It is a wonderfully scenic path to walk, run or ride your bike along and it is about five or six kilometers to the... see entire answer

There are always deals depending on what else you are planning to do at The Lodge. The GWL website "Deals" section is a good place to look: http://www.greatwolf.com/niagara/plan/deals. I usually bring snacks from home to save a little bit on food, but we usually only eat one large meal a day... see entire answer

The Majestic Bear Suite is the most luxurious Lodge experience. It is where I always stay with my family. Two bedrooms offer privacy and comfort, while a spacious wet bar and multiple TVs make this suite the most regal of dens for your family. The private master bedroom has a California king... see entire answer

There are separate TVs for the kids in the Wolf Den rooms, but I don't think there is a DVD player. I used to bring a portable one, but the kids just watch all of the children's channels on the TV provided.
